Little Hay Golf Complex are looking for a Seasonal/Part Time Chef/Cook however we will consider a Full Time position for the right candidate.

Your duties will include a variety of food preparation for functions and parties as well as looking after a day to day menu service.

You will be responsible for managing the development and administration of the bookings at Little Hay Golf Complex (which will include bookings such as functions, events, weddings Golf Society and Golf matches etc)
The suitable candidate will be required to provide a high quality, customer focused, friendly and welcoming service, providing a professional communication via phone, email and face to face.
All tasks are a mixture of manual and computerised processes. Experience of computerised booking systems/excel/outlook is desirable.
As part of this role you will also be required to provide general bar and catering assistance as and when required.

Full Time - 37 hours per week
We have an exciting opportunity to join our greenkeeping team at Little Hay Golf Complex, based in Bovingdon, Hertfordshire
This is ideal for anyone looking to start their career in greenkeeping.
Key responsibilities will include:
Working with various machinery
Preparing ground for seeding
Undertaking routine machine maintenance
Mowing tees, greens
Picking balls from the driving range
Basic knowledge of golf course operation & knowledge of machinery is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
Full UK driving licence is essential
Ability to work in a team
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and a desire to learn

Casual hours to cover sickness / holidays / busy periods
As an assistant at Little hay, you will cover a wide range of duties. You will be required to work across departments, both Reception and in the Bar.
Reception duties will include – answering telephones / using the computerised booking system / greeting customers / cash handling / cleaning / collecting golf buggies / rangering of the course etc
Bar duties will include –working on front of house, serving customers, ensuring a high standard of cleaning and daily checks for S.F.B.B standards.
