Update 15/7/21
We are very pleased that we will have rakes out, ball washers in operation and you are allowed to touch the flag pins! Equipment including Footgolf balls, clubs etc are available to hire. In the Clubhouse, feel free to wear a mask if you are more comfortable.
Update 10/3/21
We are delighted to welcome you all back on Monday 29th March. The Clubhouse toilets will be open between 9am and 2pm. Unfortunately we are not able to open the bar and restaurant but we will be selling take-away teas / coffees and cold drinks from the reception area.
As previously, please adhere to the Government guidance and guidelines below regarding Covid safety.
Update 26/11/20
We are very pleased to confirm that we will re-open on Wednesday 2nd December 2020. The Clubhouse toilets will be open between 9am and 2pm (these timings will be regularly reviewed). Unfortunately we are not able to open the bar and restaurant but we will be selling take-away teas / coffees and cold drinks from the reception area. Direct debit payments will restart 5th December.
Update 2/11/20
In line with Government requirements, our courses and driving range will be closed from Thursday 5th November and re-opening on Thursday 3rd December.
Direct Debits - unfortunately the news came too late to enable us to stop today's payment for November. However if we do close, we will ensure that no payment is taken for the month of December.
Annual Tickets - again, if we close your membership will be frozen and just restarted once we open again.
Group Golf Lessons - we will be taking guidance from England Golf and the PGA, and you will be contacted directly. It is most likely that we will re-start the lessons as soon as we are allowed.
Pre-booked Tee Times - if you have already booked and paid for a round during the closure period, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your booking reference and we will refund it.
The following is guidance for when we are open.
18 Holes
When you make a booking, you are confirming that you are adhering to the Government's Guidelines.
Please be aware that we will be doing spot checks on the course and anyone found to be in breach of the guidelines will be asked to leave.
Please be aware that the Clubhouse is only open between 9am and 3pm and therefore toilet facilities will not be available outside of these times.
Please ensure you bring hand sanitiser.
Please observe Social Distancing at all times.

Playing Guidelines
Please ensure:
- you wear a glove, even while putting
- you use your gloved hand to pick the ball from the hole
- do not remove the pin
- you smooth over any bunkers as best you can with your feet. Rakes will not be available
- you observe Social Distancing guidelines at all times, including when teeing off and putting
- do not touch stray balls
Buggies
Pre-booked buggies are available for rounds booked between 9am and 10am. This enables us to sanitise them for the next person. We are reviewing this regularly.
Trolley and Club Hire
Unfortunately we are not able to hire out clubs at the moment. Trolleys can be hired during clubhouse opening hours, and should be paid for at the bar. These are sanitised before each use.
Driving Range
This is open for Contactless Payments and for those with a pre-paid card. Please note we are not topping up the pre-paid cards or issuing new ones. Please use a glove when selecting which size bucket of balls you would like. Please select a bucket from the 'Clean' section and once finished, replace in the 'Used' section (we will be regularly cleaning the buckets and balls are always washed). Use your gloved hand to pick up the balls and again, please observe the Social Distancing guidelines.
Clubhouse and Par 3 Suite
Currently closed, but we hope to open as soon as we can. Please be aware of the one way system, use the hand sanitisers and adhere to Social Distancing guidelines.
Pitch & Putt / Footgolf
These can now be booked online here. Please note that we are not able to provide clubs, balls or footballs so please bring your own equipment. Scorecards can be downloaded and printed. Please be aware that we are trialling a different booking system so you may receive communication from XC or Dacorum Sports Trust regarding your booking - please don't worry, XC, Little Hay and our Gym are all part of our charity Dacorum Sports Trust.
