Nigel Hopkinson capped a very succesful week, winning the men’s September Stableford beating Ivan Lawrence by a point.

Saturday saw the men’s section play their last league match of this years Herts Friendly League, when they made the short trip to Welwyn Garden City’s Panshanger Golf Club a difficult course were Little Hay have had very little success over the years, so this years loss by only 3 points almost seemed like a win. The pairing of Paul Mudd & Nigel Hopkinson won the sweep with an impressive away score of 46 pts.

The Senior’s Champions Cup was played over two days last week, Tuesday and Thursday, the Champions cup for the best gross was won by Mick Milne with a two round total of 163 beating Nigel Hopkinson by 10 strokes.
