Matches this week: Little Hay 4, Great Haddam 4 and Dorothy Norman wins the David Johnson Trophy

With four regulars of the men’s scratch team unable to play, it seemed on paper at least that Little Hay would struggle when they played host to Great Haddam Golf Club. But dogged performances from player’s who until Saturday might have only dreamed about playing for the scratch team, but they helped the team earn a well deserved draw on a Little Hay course in great condition despite last week’s weather.

Monday Ladies Section
Dorothy Norman won the David Johnson Trophy with 36 points beating Julie Mace by 2 pts while Ann-Maree Dunn was third with 32 pts.
