Paul Mudd finished the week and the year on a high, winning the Steve Seaford Memorial Trophy.
He and Steve Wilkinson, arguably two of the clubs finest players had won through the knock out stages to go head to head in the 36 hole match play final. After 18 Paul was one up, after 33 hole’s he was 3 up, but Steve fought back winning the difficult 16th and 17th holes to stand on the tee at the par five 18th one down. After losing the last 2 holes, Paul managed to steady the nerves and half the 18th to win the trophy 1 up.

Paul Mudd wins the Senior Cup to add to the Club Championship he won earlier in the year.
Round One saw Paul go out in 40 home in 36 with 2 birdies and 10 pars. Round two was even better going out in 36 home 37 with 4 birdies and 9 pars for a two round total of 149. His Nett score of 139 also saw him win the Younger Senior Trophy.
Quinto Rafique won the Older Senior Trophy with a Nett score of 142. Round one saw him shoot an impressive 82 – 11 Nett 71, followed by the same score in round 2.
