Panshanger had won the League some weeks ago but the final and Needle Shield was all to play for. Fittingly as hosts Stevenage won the Needle Shield, while Little Hay ended the year in fifth place.
Saturday 12th October
Stevenage GC were this year’s host for the final match of the Herts Friendly League.
Panshanger had won the League some weeks ago but the final and Needle Shield was all to play for. Fittingly as hosts Stevenage won the Needle Shield, while Little Hay ended the year in fifth place.
A wet Saturday also saw Tony Mayhew & David Dalton win the Men’s Dacorum Trophy beating Fraser Welling & Karl Burn 4 and 2.

The seniors' October medal could only be decided in the club house after a card playoff.
