Thomas Ashton wins the John Catchpole Trophy and Paul Mudd wins the Senior October Stableford

Young Thomas Ashton wins the John Catchpole Trophy with an impressive score of 36 points, on a course playing all of its length due to the rain of the last few weeks. David Dalton was second with 34 pts while Stephen Wilkinson was third with 33 pts

Thursday 17th October

Paul Mudd was back in the winning circle when he won the senior October Stableford, Paul had 2 birdies and 11 pars scoring an impressive 38 pts. Arthur Smith claimed second place after a card playoff with David Smith after both players had scored 35 pts.

Division 2 winner Gordon Stanton 36 pts, won by virtue of a better back nine in a card playoff with second placed Arthur Smith, while in third place with 34 pts was Vic Allen.
