Club news: Jackie Pearson wins Ladies' November medal

Sunday saw the 2019/20 season’s Winter League get under way. Round one has always produced some great scores and this year would prove to be no different. Sam Deering and Kirk House won the day with an amazing Stableford better ball score of 52 points. In second place also with 52 pts and losing out in a card playoff was Patrick & Thomas Ashton, in third with an equally impressive 50 pts was Brian Ridgeway & Jerry Clarke.

Thursday

Despite the poor weather the seniors were out in force for their November medal, won by Frank Klimaszewski; Frank went out in 41 home in 43 with a birdie and 5 pars for an impressive Nett score of 69. Erman Housein was second beating third placed Paul Mudd in a card playoff.

1^st Frank Klimaszewski 84 – 15 = 69

2^nd Erman Housein 86 – 16 =70

3^rd Paul Mudd 75 – 5 = 70

Monday

Jackie Pearson wins the ladies November medal with a Nett score of 78. Trish Joslin was second by virtue of a better back nine, after a card playoff with third placed Gill Howells.
