Online bookings only for single players or two-balls and Clubhouse closed.
We are delighted to announce that following the Government's update last night, we will re-open Little Hay on Wednesday 13th May. This will be for online bookings only. There will be a number of changes, so please ensure you read the following guidelines.
18 Holes
We will be open for single players and two-balls (18 holes) whilst staying 2 metres apart. When you make a booking, you are confirming that you are adhering to the Government's Guidelines. Please be aware that we will be doing spot checks on the course and anyone found to be in breach of the guidelines will be asked to leave.
Please be aware that the Clubhouse will be closed and therefore toilet facilities will not be available.
Please ensure you bring hand sanitiser.
Please observe Social Distancing at all times.
Members
We are aware that you lost a week at the end of March therefore you will be able to access the course at no charge for the next week, but you will still need to book online. After this time, we will be in contact to ask if you are happy to re-start your Direct Debit or Annual payment.
If your Direct Debit payment was not stopped and you believe it should have been, please email littlehayenquiry@sportspace.co.uk and we will investigate this with Harlands.
Playing Guidelines
Please ensure:
- you wear a glove, even while putting
- you use your gloved hand to pick the ball from the hole
- do not remove the pin
- you smooth over any bunkers as best you can with your feet. Rakes will not be available
- you observe 2m Social Distancing guidelines at all times, including when teeing off and putting
- do not touch stray balls
The Course
It is likely that due to reduced maintenance, plus use of the course by walkers, bikers and sun bathers (!), it will take some time for the course to return to ‘normal’ condition. Our greenkeepers will ensure that heights of cut that have been raised during the course closure period are reduced slowly so as not to put undue stress on the plant. If heights are reduced too quickly it will encourage disease and weed / pest encroachment.
Driving Range
This will be open for Contactless Payments only. Please use a glove when selecting which size bucket of balls you would like. Please select a bucket from the 'Clean' section and once finished, replace in the 'Used' section (we will be regularly cleaning the buckets and balls are always washed). Use your gloved hand to pick up the balls and again, please observe the 2m Social Distancing guidelines.
Clubhouse and Par 3 Suite
Unfortunately this is closed at the moment, but we hope to be able to open soon.
